Experiences

Our aim in this section is to publish what your holidays at Camping Laguna have meant to you. In this way we can share it with other people what have also spent their holidays with us or who are interested in visiting us.

We had an amazing time at camping laguna we stayed 3 weeks during august and we enjoyed every day.

The pool was fantastic especially the water aerobics for mum every morning, we had fun in the pool and it was great being so close to the beach so you could just pop there and back for lunch.

The games room had time crisus and there was outside table tennis all day. I really liked the beach because it was sandy not stoney and the beach bar had my favourite ice creams. 

Hopfuly Mum and Dad are going to  book for next year.

‘My wife and I have been caravanning at Laguna for more than ten years and have every intention of returning for the next ten!. As we are now retired we are able to spend many weeks there most years. The site is perfectly positioned for the beach, the countryside and the mountains and we are able to cycle or walk in the adjacent nature reserves. Our daughters, who now have their own families, also love the site and its situation and join us for a couple of weeks each summer.’

A superb campsite (explore the web site) where we have spent the past 12 years or so for two or more holidays each year - set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and interest.

Cycle around the adjacent nature reserve to see the storks and wildlife, or to nearby Castello Ampuria for coffee or beer in the very picturesque square near the Basilica or on the terrace to watch the Storks fly home to roost.

Cycle or walk to the harbour at Ampuria Brava and sit on a quay side which rivals San Tropez.

Take the kids (or just the adults) to the water park near Rosas and explore the back streets there.

There are numerous other places to explore within an hours pleasant drive so you are never bored. 

Or just enjoy lazy days with plenty of space on the beach or at the bar area and pool.

If you are adventurous, go skydiving at one of the premier schools in Europe or kite surfing just down the coast.

Our children now bring their children to Laguna so the dynasty continues and we will be returning to our holiday camp site for many years to come.

After talking to your representatives David and Jan at the Rutland Bird Fair last year, who recommended your campsite as an ideal situation from which to visit the neighbouring reserve - Aiguamolls de l'Emporda. 

We arrived on the day you opened this year and stayed until April 11th.  The campsite was excellent and cycling in and around the site and into the reserve was safe, easy and very convenient.

The reserve was fantastic and in spite of the fact that it was rather early in the migration season, we managed to see 95 different species in five days.  We will certainly return.
